Northern Michigan offers some of the most beautiful landscapes. My husband and I are into fly fishing many of the scenic rivers. We also enjoy the autumn explosion of colors in Sleeping Bear Dunes.

As the water nears the bridge before falling to a lower level, duckweed makes the surface of little plants. Ducks glide through these plants with no problems. We happened upon this beautiful scene while just strolling through the park. The river is running slowly now because of the low rainfall and duckweed is covering the surface.Reflections on Mallard LakeAutumn colors and reflectionsOld and new growth in the woodlandAutumn woodland settingFallen trees give you a great place to search for those trout!Jack Pines in the Huron National ForestEvening SkyNorth BranchStormy SkyRiver walkColorful PathGiant oak just changing to its fall colors.Au Sable River valleyRiver Reflections
